What's new:

* Auto dance 2

* Save & load custom presets

* Fixed issue with feet adjustment for XPS models

* Fixed head rotation issue with eye contact. Improved eyelid control.

* "Dancing" laser beams

* Auto camera improvements

* Other bug fixes.

Please note that due to config file format change, there might be issues loading your old settings. It is recommended to put this in a fresh new folder instead of overwriting existing ones.

The latest build fixed issues of not able to remember bone selection in XPS physics settings, as well as a few problems during the first run. It is recommended to update.

ok looks good, but have a LOT of problems. does not SAVE keybind settings anymore, STILL DOESN'T SAVE STAGE MATERIAL SETTINGS (gloss, glow, etc), FREEZES when you save and rename a custom lighting option and try to load it. Doesn't remember spotlight/pointlight settings, defaults to spotlight only and you have to keep changing it back upon reload.

That was quick... I'm still uploading demo videos. Will be verifying the issues you mentioned next. Iwara is so slow...

The eye lid and look at tweaks are nice. It would be nice to set how long the character looks at ya. However the build is full of instability. The V2 auto dance randomly makes characters disappear or translate some place so far away you cant see them. The saved lighting profiles cause random crashing as well. They don't seem to save all the settings either. Such as color. I tested this with no previous config jsons. The little time I was able to appreciate the v2 auto dance I'm noticing the characters hitching between motions. The characters still do a hop between animations even though the jump is set to zero. The leg switching slider seems to do nothing that I notice. Speaking of which it would really help everyone if there was documentation on what anything does. New things get added but take actual research some times to even understand what features are actually doing. Things like SFX for materials. They show up as pink (broken shader code) in the LW build.

Builds have been updated to fix the bugs mentioned so far. Feel free to try them out.

The disappearing issue has been fixed. Please re-download. Also fixed SFX in LW version. Some of the setting names are not very intuitive, the "leg switching" means how likely they are going to switch leg positions after a group of beats (default to 8), from open to close and close to open. Value of 1 means they'll do that every time, 0 means never. When this happens they'll hop up and lands with the new leg position.

everything has been fixed, except for LW version: It still does not save stage material settings, or camera settings. they are both sharing the same content folder.

I tested again but it seems fine to me. I changed light from spotlight to point light, quited and opened again, it remembered. Just to be sure that I didn't mess up the upload, I uploaded the builds again. BTW, if you run the previous faulty version it might overwrite your saved data in your content folder so best to delete them.

Its far from fixed. The HD build songs don't play. Most of the lighting properties like color do not save still. Loading a save results hit or miss crashing. The V2 auto dance on both LW causes the character to absolutely yeet it self out into the distance taking any following lights with it if you scrub back in a songs time line. I can't test the HD build because songs don't play correctly. Sometimes in LW if you scrub around you can get the character to come back but the lights are gone and attempting to glitch them back to working leads to extreme graphical glitching. The menu goes white and the environment goes pitch black. The character still lurches between dance styles in auto dance v2. So I'm honestly not sure what was fixed. I've redownloaded both versions with fresh zips and ran them just for due diligence. Edit I got HD build to play one song. When it loops the auto V2 dance gets super choppy. Also the hand positions don't work correctly. I had to uncheck and recheck mirror on left and right hands to get them to respond to anything in the menu. Over all its still full of bugs.

BTW is there anyone here who still runs the 32bit version of Windows? If no one objects, will start generating 64bit builds from now on.

I'm happy as far as you keep having LW version ! It's way lighter on lag

As per usual, you guys do a fantastic job, but I actually disliked something that happened this time around. I don't know if I am the only one having this issue, but none of the bone information gets saved anymore. If I put the boobs bones physics and reload the model, the physics are gone and I have to reattach them. I didn't complain about this because I was using 0.7.1 still as a backup and today that version told me that it expired. How I cannot use my previous version? It looks good, but at least for me is unusable in this state. Any recomendations? Any fixes? Am I missing something? Even when I edit the character it creates the .json file but doesn't seem to load the bone physics.

dvvr

Yes, we found that bug too. The fix is uploaded. The latest build numbers are 53 & 55. There are also a couple of other fixes in the build. * Initial light settings are corrected, previously in the first run you get a fully dark scene now it should load the default light setting correctly. * Occasionally you might get an empty list in the folder select dialog when choosing your content folder, it should be normal now with this build.

I'm curious was the auto hand motion supposed to be in this build? It seemed to change positions if I'm not mistaken.

Neither version will let me load VMDs, it just hangs on a loading message. Also the panel can't be moved vertically and spawns above my head.

Anonymous

Seems like if the names of the song and vmd don't match it just flat out hangs now. They changed something which is kinda annoying because it broke the content library for a lota stuff.

dvvr

Sorry, it didn't make into this release since we don't quite like the current implementation and would like to go for a different approach for it.

dvvr

Interesting, will investigate further. Are you guys able to record a video demonstrating the issue? That would really help me track down the problem. Thanks.
