Greeting Patrons,

I recently watched, and enjoyed the series "The Essex Serpent", but, if I'm being honest, mostly for the beautiful landscapes. I think I scrawled something like 'marsh/boat" in my notebook. I've done some similar natural environments before but they were either more of a wetland nature preserve with lots of wildlife, or featured a skulking monster.

This is quite a peaceful ambience, with gentle breezes, lapping water, and the rhythmic sounds of oars dipping unhurriedly into the water.

Musically, this features a lovely droning cello part, played irregularly, in fifths. On top of this, I layered ethereal vocals, some distant metallic plucks, and lazy atmospheric strings. The whole thing was designed to be languid and swirl about, like the wind and the water.

All this makes for a calm and peaceful track that could either set the stage for something to come, or a place to rest.  The music-only version would make a fine ethereal plane track or something similarly mystical.

This is in Patreon-only sneak-peek mode until next week, so I've included the mixed version of the track, as well as music-only, and ambience-only versions. Additionally, I created a few alternate versions: You'll find mixed and ambience versions that have no-boat and no-boat, no-bugs. This last option is a way to alter the time of day from evening to day. I hope you find these useful.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Hell yeah Tim, been waiting for something like this since Swamplandia (one of my favorite tracks!)

This MUS Only would be perfect for a characters reflection on a lost life, someone they failed to save and the death was in fact tragic.
