Greetings Patrons,

I had this great plan for Docking Bay to be a set piece of various space-themed activities in a massive hangar. Mechs loading and unloading cargo and munitions, troops marching in formation, and general preparations for mobilization.

That all went according to plan. I designed the ambience first and was pleased with it. But, when I started composing the music I felt pulled toward a dynamic orchestral action piece, rather than sci-fi ambient.

So, I went with it. In fact, there is absolutely nothing inherently sci-fi about the music at all (except for a tiny bit of synth, but nothing too bleepy). Only the ambience puts this in space.  The music only version would be great for fantasy, or even modern-style tracks.

As this is in Patreon sneak-peek mode, I've included the mixed version, as well as ambience-only and music-only versions. Additionally, I created 2 'No Troops' versions which remove the soldiers and the mechs. Lastly, I created 2 seamless loops from the track and included those as well. There are .ogg and .mp3 versions. You should use .ogg if you can, it tends to loop better, but I've included mp3 versions as an alternative.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Some of this has very strong classic Total Annihilation vibes. Love the track.

Thank you for another great track! I appreciate these genre-agnostic kind of tracks in particular. My main campaign is fantasy but not medieval, with some soft sci-fi elements but no lasers or rockets, so it can be tricky to find tracks that fit, particularly for combat. This one and the music only version of Infiltration are just right, though!
