Greetings Patrons,

This week's track features the classic sci-fi trope of terraforming, the process by which a lifeless planet is transformed into one that can sustain life. I have no idea how this works but it my head it requires a massive complex of hissing and clanking machines, belching great plumes of oxygen and nitrogen into the atmosphere.

I could have gone at this in a number of ways but it felt synth-y to me, so I went with that. One thing I avoided was Blade Runner CS-80 vibes. You all know I adore that stuff but I wanted this one to be different. There are actually some orchestral elements here as well which makes it kind of a reverse-hybrid score if you will.

The ambience features harsh winds, groaning machinery, and the constant growl of engines and generators.  This could double as any large vehicle or ship, like a sand crawler etc.

As this track is in patron-only sneak-peek mode (live on the site next week) I have attached the mixed-version, as well as ambience-only, and music-only versions. Additionally, I created 2 'no-reactor' versions (mixed and ambience-ony0 which just feature the environmental sounds and no machinery. I hope you find these useful.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim
