Greetings Patrons,

When I first started working on this track, the file name for the initial idea was: 'druid_forest_thing'. And yet, the finished version is quite literally, millions of miles away from the original.

Maybe it was the whispering flautando strings that pushed me out of the forests for distant barren worlds. Maybe it was the pulsing synth bass that I didn't think would work, but did. Or, maybe I was in the mood for sci-fi?

The result is an action/adventure soundtrack that has a nice build, a bit of danger, a bit of release and lots and lots of red sand.

This is in sneak-peek mode on the site. As there are new patrons among us, I'll clarify that sneak-peek means that Patrons get the track that will eventually go on the site a week early. I refer to this track as the mixed-version, meaning it's got the sound effects and the music together as it would be in a film.

Additionally, I've created ambience-only, and music-only versions for patrons. There are no-tech versions (no radio or footsteps) as well which basically makes this a desert-style track.

More additionally, I went back and forth on the footstep sounds. The original track had the footsteps in it but when I was doing my final morning listen before posting, I felt that it would be a slightly more useful track without them. But! I figured they could be a cool addition so I created extra versions of the mixed and ambience-only versions which have the footsteps added back. I hope you find these useful additions, and not too confusing.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

You never cease to amaze with all of these though even after absorbing this one -- I kinda feel a need for more Noir music bits - like as you are wending your way across a dark grey city were even the Neon glows cannot keep you safe when something is afoot! That said Tim, again this one is awesome!
