A few of you have been requesting the ability to rearrange the order of sounds in Custom SoundPads after they've been added. I spent the last few days working on a way that made sense and worked on mobile devices as well.

There is now a Sort button at the top of the page - sorting is off by default. Clicking the button that says "Sort Off"  will toggle the button to its On state and allow sounds to be dragged and rearranged on the grid. To lock the sounds in place, preventing accidental movement, simply click the button again until it reads "Sort Off".

If you are rearranging an already saved SoundPad, you will need to re-save it, either with the same name (which will overwrite it) or with a new name (and delete the old one). This new saved SoundPad will remember the sorting of your sounds.

Hope you find this a useful addition and thank you for your support!

best,

Tim

Nice one. that's certainly going to come in handy.

Question: would it be possible to include a search or filter on the custom soundpad list on the left? Type a word, or part of a word, and the filter only shows sounds that include that expression, but within all the pads. This way it's easier to locate a specific sound even if we don't know what pad it's in.

AHHHH! Awesome! This is great! I'd love to suggest something else: When "Sort On" is enabled, have a little x next to each sound so they can be removed from the custom sound pad rather than going back to the proper sound menu in the sidebar. :)
