New Ambience: Robot Scrapyard (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons,

Here's a synth-heavy ambience that exists somewhere between sci-fi, anime, and cyberpunk. Robot Scrapyard is a factory for repairing and recycling robots. These machines are dismantled, parts are interchanged and new ones are created. It's the cycle of robot life. I hope Asimov would approve!

Musically it's fairly emotional and it felt appropriate that it should be 100% synth-based and not a hybrid of synths and orchestral instruments. I was particularly happy with the way the glitchiness of certain instruments interacted with the electrical sparking of the ambience. A happy accident to be sure.

As this track is in sneak-peek mode on the site, I'm including the mixed version (on the site next week) as well as music-only and ambience-only versions here, for patrons. The music track will make an excellent expository track for any number of genres. It's ever so slightly propulsive, but definitely no banger. The ambience track will work as any industrial facility and is fairly genre neutral.
