Greetings Patrons,

Just to be clear, the title of this track is a portmanteau of Sand People and Tusken Raiders. And yes, it is an homage to Ludwig Göransson's work on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Less specifically, it's a hybrid score (combining orchestral instruments with synthesizers and various modern production techniques) that I felt evoked a kind of SciFi desert vibe - with maybe a dash of spaghetti western thrown in for good measure.

As the music can get fairly intense, the ambience is really just designed to float in the background, bubbling up occasionally during the quieter moments. Desert winds, the grunts of banthas (pitched down camels and elephants) and sandy footsteps all make appearances.

As this track is in sneak-peek mode on the website, I've included the mixed version (available on the site next week) plus ambience-only, and music-only versions of this track here, for patrons.

The ambience-only track would make a fine basic desert/desert-planet background. I think the music-only track  would make a good action track across multiple genres (unless you're an orchestral-only purist for your fantasy games!).

I hope you enjoy this one, it was a ton of fun to make.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Two characters go down to 0 against the BBEG? THIS is the track to play for that moment. Amazing stuff!
