New Ambience: Summoning (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons,

I was noodling around with some ideas this week and I realized I had very nearly created a Dead Can Dance track from the 80s. It wasn't spot on, but it was pretty close. Naturally, I continued working on it until it sounded less like an homage, but I liked that the DNA of the idea was still there.

Once the music was finished (sometimes I start with the ambience), I knew that I wanted to do something involving dark magic. I envisioned a coven summoning some ancient spirit. Torches on the wall, ghostly whispers, strange echoes, thunder, and turning pages are all here.

Musically this will work well for dark, mysterious spaces. I can see it in dungeons, castles, manor houses etc. Similarly, the ambience track can be used in lots of dark situations. Certainly in dungeons!

This track is in patron sneak-peek mode and will appear on the site next week. I'm including the mixed version of the track here, as well as ambience-only, and music-only versions for patrons.
