Greetings Patrons,

I set out this week to write a fairly action oriented piece that wasn't EPIC. Something that could work in a wide variety of situations. Battles, chases, tension, even journeying. It's the kind of thing I get lots of requests for.

I used a selection of traditional folk instruments from various Northern European cultures. Nothing too bombastic on their own, but create a decent racket when they're all going full tilt.  This one has a few dips in the action, as 10 minutes is a long time to sustain a high energy piece, but I think it works well and doesn't lag.

Now, the ambience portion, as some of you will surely notice, is just one horse, galloping through the woods. Wind rushing, branches smacking, hooves pounding. I called it the Wild Hunt because I love the above painting (here's the original) and the music just seemed to describe something like it. So, as always, take my titles with a grain of salt. Listen to them and use them however you wish!

I've attached ambience-only and music-only tracks (below). Each of these can be combined with numerous other amb/mus combinations for added flexibility.

Thank you all, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

You keep finding new holes to fill that I didn't even know were there! This is a great addition.

Fabulous!

This is great, thanks! Can we also get a track similar to this, but with less whimsy and more urgency? Instead of a fun hunt in the woods, the characters are running for their lives, chasing/being chased, or simply *must hurry*. A track that could be played during an encounter around having to get somewhere fast. Thanks :)

You really captured the Witcher game music/background style - love it!
