Greetings Patrons,

I hope this note finds you well. I took quite a long and meandering path trying to discover where this track was going. I almost scrapped it a couple of times. I eventually arrived at music that I liked, a kind of oscillating chamber music pulse, but I couldn't decide what story it was trying to tell. I originally had this set in an old manor style house with doors opening and closing, distant footsteps of staff milling about. This was ok, but I thought I'd try to convert it into something more mystical.

I kept most of the manor sounds but added monks, some scroll and book sounds and added some chant elements to the music. Much better, but I knew I needed some focal point. The orrery, a mechanical model of the solar system, seemed like the missing piece. Naturally this had to be huge. I couldn't have monks gathered around a tiny little model! I've classified this as fantasy but it could easily work in sci-fi or steampunk style situations as well.

I've included both music-only and ambience-only versions of this track here for patrons.

Thank you all, as always, for your continuing support.

Best,

Tim

Fabulous - I can really picture it! In fact, it makes me want to incorporate the concept and the track in my campaign climax.

I have been playing Tom Clancy's The Division 2 and this track reminds me a lot of the music in that game.
