Greetings Patrons,

I wanted to share a new feature that I added to all the SoundPads. You now have the ability to save groups of sounds as scenes or macros.

It's really simple to use. You'll notice a new "Save Scene" button above the category filter. Just load up some sounds, adjust their volumes and click "Save Scene". You'll be prompted to name the scene, after which it will appear as a button. Save a few more scenes and then click the scene buttons to load groups of sounds at once. Delete the scene with the red 'x'.

Saved scenes are device dependent, i.e. scenes saved on your laptop will not appear on your iPad.

This is a great way for GMs, with a minimal amount of prep work, to assign groups of sounds to encounters, rooms on a map, NPCs,  or anything else.

Saved scenes work best with looping sounds (the ones with the green looping icon). Once you've got a background scene playing you can add  single-shot events and other foreground sounds like doors and creatures.

I hope you find this useful.

Thanks so much for your support.

Best,

Tim

Very cool! I wonder if it would be possible to also save them as links with parameters, so they could be shared/added to notes documents? Being able to link to tabletopaudio with a link that starts playing a track of choise would also be an awesome feature! Anyway, tabletopaudio is an extremely cool resource for a GM, thanks for doing it!
