New Ambience: The Steppes (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons,

"More drums!" is a frequent line in many request emails. Well, I started working on this "more drums" track and,  as I added Erhu, Guzheng and a bit of throat singing, I found myself on the steppes of Mongolia . I wanted to conjure up a vibe of vast plains, rolling hills and terrifying warriors doing acrobatic things on horses. Hopefully some of that vibe comes across.

I discovered that without the Eastern instruments and vocals it could work well as a broader tribal/war-drum type track, so I've included that drums-only version here for Patrons.

Also, stay tuned for a special holiday treat! I've been working on a collaboration project with a few other creators across the tabletop space. This was a just-for-fun, let's all do something cool, type project, and from the sneak peaks I've got of the others' work it's going to be great! I'll be sharing all of that bounty here when it's finished.
