New Ambience: Royal Court (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons,
After spending a 2 weeks in hell, by which I mean the latest SoundPad!, I needed to dial the evil back a bit, so I found a request from earlier this spring and decided that a courtly ambience might be just the ticket. Hushed tones and whispers, occasional footsteps as someone approaches the throne - or crosses behind you, and occasional bits of sound that could be notes passing or just the wind outside.
I though it appropriate to have some music in the background, so I decided a lute and a flute somewhere off to the side would make sense for a wide array of periods. Speaking of periods, I should mention that while my arrangement and orchestration is decidedly medieval(esque), the piece itself is from 19th c composer Heinrich von Herzogenberg. But I thought it worked well in this setting. I only mention this because a few of you will definitely ask :)
I've included 2 alternate tracks for patrons. One is ambience only - a little bland on its own but maybe useful for adding (or playing) your own courtly tunes over it.
There's also a music only track. As this is what's called 'diagetic' music, or music that's actually being played 'on screen' (think Star Wars Cantina band), I left the localization effects in place. i.e. it still sounds like it's being played in the background of a large room. Again, this is probably best played over something or at least, quite low.
And finally, the Synology NAS saga is over! I have 5 new disks in place, all my stuff is back on it and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Thank you all for your continuing support.
Best,
Tim
