New Ambience: Forest: Day (Patreon)

Greetings Patrons,

This new ambience, Forest: Day, is from a recent request for more nature ambiences, specifically daytime ones. I went back over the some of the other nature tracks I've done and thought I could find a spot for a sound that was useful for a wide range of stories.

There are many ways to approach tracks like this. Forests can be peaceful and safe, or dangerous and foreboding, and everything between. For this one I decided to focus on the natural elements. The leaves in the trees, the wind that surrounds, the birds that live above. It's not a fantasy forest per se, but it certainly makes a good one. It could be a modern forest, or an ancient one. 

The musical accompaniment emphasizes the serenity. I could have taken it any number of directions, but as I was working on it, I noticed this was the way it was heading. When this happens, I tend to go with my instinct. There was clearly (to me!) something in the sound that pushed me in this direction.

As I often do, I've included a version without music so you can either add a different track or just enjoy the pure sound of the forest.
