Plans Regarding My Patreon Focus (Patreon)

Now that the last round of voting is done, I want to bring back my plans to move forward with my Lusty Lamp Resort project. First and foremost, since I’m incapable of being truly unbiased towards what I draw, I don’t think I’ll be doing request voting polls again any time soon. As for the High-End request list, I’ll touch on that later. Furthermore, I won’t be able to guarantee three full colored exclusive illustrations per month from January 2024 onward, though there will still be monthly exclusive content.

Now, onto the LLR. I said I wanted to blitz through building the world and here’s how. First, I will hold two short polls regarding the area and concepts to decide the order in which I’ll work on them. Once a concept has been decided on, I will explain it and how they affect characters as much and as briefly as possible. Then, I will ask for suggestions from patrons that follow the concept, which I’ll choose from among them to draw. I’ll do this repeatedly until I’m able to cover everything I’ve conceived for the LLR.

Aside from following the concept I lay out, there’s no particular character limitations in terms of who you include or how many there are in a suggestion. However, you are playing to my interests, so don’t be surprised if I don’t pick every idea sent my way that features three or more characters I don’t care for or know nothing about. On the flip side, one of my goals is to draw nearly every character on my interest list at least once, so overusing certain characters, particularly mainstream ones I’ve drawn for Patron Picks over and over, is likely to have the opposite effect with me at some point. In the end, it’s probably better to just ask for my opinion regarding what characters you’d like to use.

Overall, not much will really change in terms of what I ask of patrons who want to participate. Now, regarding High-End requests, I’ll keep the list of current ideas, but I don’t plan to draw any of them any time soon. However, in its place, I plan to open up an “Ask Me Anything” panel regarding the Lusty Lamp in order to talk about concepts that are better explained verbally. I also plan to bring back Lusty Lamp Snapbacks as well, since I like the idea of visiting old character TFs. That said, I want to get the ball rolling on my main focus before I dip into side content here and there.

Anyway, that’s the gist of what I have planned going forward. And what’s more, I plan to get the ball rolling in just a bit with a poll on what area to focus on! So stay tuned!
