Alright then! Time for me to drone on and on about what I’ve been thinking. Again, for a short version on what I plan to do for this month, check out this post.

Right then! Again, I intend to draw six picture for this month, three from the commission pile and the usual Patron Picks. Don’t really think I’ll be able to manage more than that though, due to the release of Final Fantasy 14’s new expansion release, among other things. I’m actually pretty upset about what I decided to devote my time to for the first half of October, which led to a mad dash of finishing the Patron Picks in the latter half to the point that my sleep schedule was so borked I became a night owl and slept during the day. Thankfully, I managed to finish everything by the 30th, so I managed to avoid having anything seep into November’s posts, which I’m sure new people like, but I personally find embarrassing.

As for what I did during the first half of October, it was pretty much the three picture I publicly posted. Long story short, if you ever do fanart or gift art for someone, don’t really expect too much in the way of reciprocated feelings (and in a worse case, even acknowledgement). In the last ten years, I think this has happened to me four times between gift art and art trades and it’s left me feeling pretty shitty each time for different reasons. Thankfully, I’m actually pretty fond of the pictures themselves this time around, even if the outcome of the situation left a bad taste in my mouth.

Moving on, Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker. I’ll be playing early access on November 19th the moment it drops and I’ll be streaming on my Twitch and possibly hanging in my Discord the entire time (at the very least, I’ll be on mic the whole time). And when I say the entire time, I mean the damn near the whole weekend. It won’t be on the level of a Twitch livestreamer/Youtuber, as I’ll still take food breaks and sleep, but I’m definitely gonna binge it and will mostly likely finish the main story on Sunday. If you’d like to hang on Twitch with me, feel free to do so. If you’d like to play the game with me, at the time of writing this, I don’t have a dedicated group who I intend to play with, so I’d be down to party with anyone. I play on the Primal datacenter on Behemoth, so if you do as well, feel free to join me!

As far as endgame content goes, I may do the first two EX stages when the expansion releases, but as far as savage raiding goes, I most likely won’t. I can’t really find it in me to sink time into this game that revolves around other people to clear content (i.e. people debuff). It’d be one thing if I was a Twitch streamer or rolled with a group that was decent who I enjoyed playing the game with, but I haven’t had much luck in that, especially the latter given the type of stuff I’m into (hell, I barely find people who are into anime and manga in past statics). But who knows? Maybe if I stream more, I’ll consider it. Maybe.

Now for the Patron Picks. I’ve really enjoyed the way they’ve been going the past couple of months. I think the best way to describe it is, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too.” I definitely prefer when I pick the characters and people suggest what happens simply because I tend to care more about who I’m drawing rather than what (at least within what I'm willing to draw). Honestly, the only reason why I don’t stick with this all the time is both because I’m sure my patrons feels the same, but don’t like the same characters I do. And, more importantly, I can easily see people getting bored of the repetitiveness of the characters I pick (for example, because it’s the series I want to draw art of the most, I guarantee that there will be three characters from Symphogear every time). On the other hand, even before September, there was never a suggestion that won with a character that I had zero interest in drawing, so I’m perfectly fine with patrons suggesting them and leaving me to decide everything else. It gives me the chance to draw other things (though it unfortunately might put people off who follow me specifically for CJ and T&A) and it actually give me room to possibly do pictures with multiple characters, which I don’t allow during polls due to how imbalanced it makes the voting.

Point is, I definitely got some more enjoyment out of this format than before, so I’ll be sticking with it from here on, alternating between the two. I’m sure people would definitely prefer the old format where patrons could suggest anything, but as a friend of mine put it to me, “if people want that, they can simply commission me.” That, or wait until they eventually reach High-End Patron status and can suggest anything they want, then cross their fingers that I’ll pick it.

And finally, I’m considering making the Lusty Lamp Tour comics into a free webcomic. One of the biggest reasons I haven’t up till now is fear of it devaluing previous comic packs I’ve released. However, I think I can do so and post new chapters publicly while selling old and new Snapzine issues, especially if I include extra content. It might seems a bit scummy, but I can just call it a “support the artist” tax, especially for those not a part of my Patreon.

There are more reasons however. For one, I want more people to know about my comic and the world within it. It also, ironically, makes sense for the Lusty Lamp Tour comics in particular, as the whole concept of it is to be an infomercial type of thing. Honestly though, I’m hoping that doing this will draw more people to my Patreon and give me more of a reason to update it more consistently, which I really want to do given all the concepts I’ve thought for it.

I've also thought of posting other comics publicly too, specifically the MikoXMonster series and the Playtime with Tygra one-shot I did. Doing this actually would devalue them, and force me to make them “Pay-what-you-want” for people who enjoyed them. Only reason I consider doing so is because I feel that they’re pretty tame, entertaining stories that I’m pretty proud of, plus they haven’t had much in the way of sales in a long time (even really gold Lusty Lamp packs still get sales even today).

That then leads me to the comics I wouldn’t post publicly no matter. Of the comics I’ve made, the ones that fit this criteria are Snapzine #10 and Lati’s Milky Tits (from the Snapzine #12). The reasoning is simple: I feel that they’re boner-inducing. The latter is a simple BE sequence, but the former, after looking it over again, I’m reminded that I put my heart and soul into doing everything I could to make it as erotic as possible. That tends to be the make or break for me these days on whether a comic is a good buy or not, so it makes me more confident at leaving those on the store at a specific price indefinitely. Still, I’m not sure if or when I’d be able to do any of this. Just something I’ll have to look into in the future.

Anyway, I started rambling towards the end, but that’s everything that’s been on my mind as of late. Sorry it was so long, but you were probably prepared for it if you clicked this post. And with that, truly…

That’s all for now!!!

Oh wow, someone actually read this, lol! Yeah, posting comics publicly may be the thing I need since I've stagnated a little. And I hope I don't have a dead chat the entire weekend, lol.
