Late Posts and Lower Quality (Patreon)

Thanks everybody for taking part in the voting polls! Sorry for all the lack of art. Anyway, here's the short version of this post. 

I'll be completing one of the pictures from this month at the beginning of next month. It's mostly done, just needs shading. If you were charged for this month, I'll still send you the link, so feel free to opt out of my Patreon if you need to. Also, from here on out, I'll most likely be lowering the quality of my coloring. It'll be somewhere around what I do for my comics, so it shouldn't be too bad. Just thought I'd give everyone the heads up.

Ok, time for the long version

Like I said, I'll be finishing one of the pictures sometimes at the beginning of next month. The reason is simple: burnout and distractions. An event with a gacha I play that involves guide making popped up recently and it caught my interest. The startling thing is that, as tedious as it was, I was able to work on it straight through the night without any issue. On the other hand, when it comes to drawing, I find myself falling asleep while coloring and I've had procrastination issues for a while now. My motivation dropped to nothing as I was on the final steps of one of the latest pictures and I'm struggling a bit to continue. 

Therefore, I need to take some steps to boost me back up a bit. For one, I need get this guide making desire out of my system so I can focus on my work. I also need to draw for myself, which I haven't really been able to do for quite some time. The next thing I need to do is pull back on the amount of detail I put into my coloring. I'm really satisfied with how much effort I put into it, but it takes so long that I think I'm getting bored with my own work. I actually average anywhere from 2 to 4 hours on just the hair alone. As much as I like it, I've honestly been wondering if it's even necessary, especially since most of the attention lies elsewhere. So yeah, I'll be pulling back on the shading of my work. It'll most likely be around the level of detail I give my comics more or less, so if you're cool with that, great. If not, I apologize, but I don't think I can keep going like this. To put it as a metaphor, I've been going full power for a long time and I'm puttering out.

Anyway, that's what's been up lately. Again, I'll try to finish up the latest couple of pictures as soon as I can.
