July 2020 Status Update! (Patreon)

Thank you everyone for another month of support! I apologize for the late status update, had some distractions yesterday. Really glad that there are plenty of people willing to support their favorite artists during these times and for that, I can’t thank you enough.

Anywho, onto updates for this month! Got a couple more commissions to work on, and then I’ll be finished with the commissions I accepted… in February. Man, I’ve got to figure something out with those. Really need to work on commissions the moment I get them, or at the very least get the sketches done. Was considering doing something like accepting a number of commissions to a certain dollar amount, around the price of two full shaded single character commissions (i.e. $300). Might have enough to cover that already, so whether I open up a slot or two later is up in the air at this point.

Still only working on Patron Picks for now as Patreon content. Really only spending my time doing that, taking a commission or two, or studying Japanese. And on that note, I might be looking into opening a Pixiv Fanbox soon, possibly at the beginning of August or September (October at the latest hopefully). While I’m far from fluent, I feel that I have a decent enough grasp of the language to attempt to translate my works with a lot of searching through online resources (and not Google Translate). One thing I do want to make clear is that, once I get everything started, I plan to include votes and suggestions from Pivix Fanbox (or any Japanese based crowdfunding thing I settle on) with the ones over here for the Patron Pick polls. So while all of the content will be the same (albeit including some Japanese versions), if you want to pledge over on Pixiv Fanbox as well as here to have a bit more influence in the polls, more power to you I guess. 

Anyway, that’s pretty much what’s going on for this month. Oh, and I’ll be opening up the suggestion period for July’s Patron Pick polls soon. The post where you can submit the suggests will only be viewable to $10 patrons and up (as well as HE patrons), so please keep that in mind.
