Announcements: Downsizing (Patreon)

So it's been almost a year since I started up Patreon and over the course of things I've learned and figured out a lot. That being said, I figured I should step back and keep it simple with my Patreon. All these rewards, all these milestone goals, and not nearly as much attention as I'd hoped have been building up stress for a while now. So I wanted to nip it in the bud and takes things easier and instead of making this Patreon an extra service, I'm just going to make this more of a tip jar type thing. 

That said, the main changes many of you will see won't exactly impact the $10 tiers and lower. I've sent emails to everyone in these tiers, but I'll be removing the $50 and $30 tiers, which means that I'll be ending the coupon system. Not to worry though, as I've saved a record of accumulated coupons, which can be used at any time I open up a new set of commission slots. If you'd like to know how many coupons you have, just hit me with a message, email, etc. Patreon does have a feature that lets patrons pledge any amount that they want (I myself have had two patrons in the past pledge $0.10 and $1 which aren't tiers I have set), so if you still want to pledge all that money you're welcome to do so. There just won't be any extra rewards for it besides my most heartfelt gratitude (and maybe some behind the scenes perks that I haven't decided yet :p ).

As for what I'm going to do from now on? Well, I really want to continue the voting thing I have going on, however instead of a monthly basis, I want to make it more of a weekly one. The voting poll for a monthly theme will remain the same, however there will be a character poll every week. I've decided that the number of characters in the poll should be a third of the total listed patrons at the time (so as of now it'd be 12 characters plus an extra option for me to pick). $10 patrons will all still get a guaranteed suggestion slot every poll, but as for the rest I think it should just be first come first served through comments. I'll get started on the weekly polls once November starts. 

As for any additions to my Patreon in the future, for now I'd like to go with what I'm comfortable with and build from there. Maybe I will do two themes per month or something like that. One thing I am considering are patron request streams. I'm thinking of having one sometime on Saturday or Sunday depending on how things play out with my comic work.
