Hey there, Oxdarock here!

We're a third of the way into the month, but I thought I'd give people a heads up on what's going on. The short answer: not much. I'm just now starting the sketches for the Patron Pick winners. ^^;

Moving on, I'd like to remind everyone that I'll be changing my Patreon back to a monthly campaign on January 3rd 2020 (I wrote 2019 last post. Whoops). I plan to make at least 3 finished requests per month: 2 via monthly voting polls and 1 via the High-End Request list (more on that below). The tier lists will be as follows:

  • $2 tier: Able to see sketches posted to the Patreon gallery and take part in voting polls.
  • $5 tier: Able to see finished works early before they make their way onto my online store (which tends to be much later).
  • $10 tier: Able to make suggestions for monthly voting polls, will receive a link to an organized sketch archive of my works, and will receive a free copy of any new image pack I release that month.
  • $15 tier: Able to take part in a second round of the monthly voting poll, will receive archive links to a dropbox archive of finished illustrations from the last six months, as well as comics pages (1 finished and any ongoing comics).
  • $20 tier: Able to make an extra suggestion to monthly voting polls, votes will count for twice as much, will receive an archive of finished illustrations from the last 12 months, and your name will be added to a special "Thank you" picture and in the credit section of any image pack I release that month.

Please be sure to adjust your pledge once I make the switch on January 3rd. My Patreon will have the "Charge Upfront" feature, however this won't affect existing patrons as long as you adjust your pledge before February 1st (you can learn more from this post). The tier names will remain the same with the "Big tier" making its return, so you can simply adjust your pledge to the corresponding tier and it will be the same as if you were charged for 5 paid posts in the current tiers (with the exception of the "Giant" tier, which would be one post short). You can also preemptively adjust your tier before then by making your current pledge the same amount as one of the new tiers ($10 and above) and setting a monthly pledge limit (I will message anyone I see who does this and doesn't set a limit so that they're not overcharged).

I will be continuing with the "High-End Patron" list that I've started up. To be added to the list, you have to have pledged a lifetime amount of $240 to my Patreon (the equivalent to 12 months on the $20 tier). It's pretty much an extra perk for patrons who've stuck with me for a long time rather than a direct tier reward and perks are applied regardless of what tier you're a part of. The perks are as follows:

  • Able to make an extra suggestion on monthly voting polls in addition to those you can make via tier rewards (so if you're part of the $10 tier, you can make up to 2).
  • All votes will count for 1 extra (so if you're part of the $20 tier, your votes will count for 3, rather than 2).
  • Will receive a link to the sketch archive of my works.
  • Will have their name added to a special thank you picture, as well as any image pack I release that month.
  • Will earn a slot in a "High-End" patron request list. Requests will be in full color and up to three characters can be suggested. Backgrounds will be simple unless a setting is specified. Requests on this list can be modified at any time (unless I've already finished sketching it) and will remain on the list even if the patron who made it ends their subscription (I'll even send you a copy as well).

As a quick extra note, because the baseline to be added to the HEP list will be increased, patrons currently on the list will be taken off if their lifetime amount doesn't meet this amount. That said, I will still keep any requests made prior to this, so if your name is on this list, but you don't have a request on this list, be sure to contact me to make sure you still have a slot!

And that's pretty much it. I'll most likely post this again in a couple of weeks, just so that people aren't caught off guard. That's all for now!
