 Hey there, Oxdarock here!

As mentioned at the end of 2018, I will be making changes to the way Stack points and requests work on my Patreon. I will list them all here, as well as edit my current FAQ pages and Patreon page afterwards. Before that, I’d like to remind everyone of the archive reward changes I’ve made, which you can learn more about from this post.

The changes to the Stack Point and Request system are as follows:

  • Request and character suggestions will be Stack Point based and only Grand tier ($2) and above can earn points.
  • Patrons of each tier will earn a set amount of points per month: 1 for Grand ($2), 2 for Huge ($3), and 3 for Giant ($5). Patrons with a monthly limit will earn points when they collectively pledge an amount equal to 5 posts according to their tier.
  • Each patron can only have up to 40 points saved up. Any patron that reaches this limit will not receive any more points and all points that would’ve been earned will be permanently lost. I will notify any patrons who reach this limit.

The amount of points needed for requests and suggestions, as well as the options one has for each, are as follows.

  • 5 points for a character suggestion. Character suggestions will be used in either Stream Sketches or Lusty Lamp works. If requested, patrons can leave a note of what themes/ways to not draw their suggestion, as well as if the suggestion should be used exclusively for Draw Streams or Lusty Lamp works.
  • 20 points for a B&W request. Requests can have no more than four characters and will be posted publicly.
  • 30 points for a full color request. Can have no more than four characters and will by default be used in Lusty Lamp works unless it too difficult to include or if patron would like it posted publicly.

Stack Points can also be used to:

  • Upgrade Stream Sketches or B&W requests to full color. 15 points are needed to upgrade a sketch and 10 are needed to upgrade a B&W request.
  • Select a character to be drawn in a Lusty Lamp Snapbacks picture. All characters and their forms can be found in any currently released Snapzine issue. 10 points are needed for a new picture to be drawn. Available characters can be found in the Snapbacks Point Sheet.
  • Progress further Stack Service pictures, a series of short sequences featuring my OCs. The number needed for each sequence can be found via the Stack Service Progress Sheet.
  • Put any character suggestion or request on a priority list. Up to 5 points can be used, with the higher number being the higher priority.

That’s all the main points, but here’s some extra info:

  • Patrons cannot pool their stack points together for requests (B&W or Full Color).
  • Points will be collectively added to upgrades, Snapbacks, or the Stack Service.
  • There is no limit to the number of requests a patron can make. The same character can also be suggested multiple times (although I will avoid drawing them consecutively).
  • I will generally prioritize working on requests in the following manner: Priority via stack points, personal motivations, first timers, number of characters/level of difficulty, and order in which requests are received. I will not inform anyone of the order I will work on requests.

I would like to emphasize that these are very long term side rewards and try as I might, I will mostly likely not be able to keep up with the everything on the to-do list. And, as more patrons join and more points are used, I will most certainly raise point requirements even higher in the future. That said, whether its a character suggestion or a request, I will do my best to draw at least one personal idea for each of my patrons.

Anyway, I will be changing my Patreon page, FAQ page, and Google Sheets regarding Stack points after this and will notify everyone when I do so. All changes will take place at the beginning of February 2019 and I will be carrying over the current list of suggestions, requests, and stack points. Furthermore, I will allow all patrons to make at least 1 character suggestion in exchange for one stack point until the beginning of February 2019

That’s all for now! If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment below or send me a private message!
