So I also was curious about the second heart that Yedam gave to Junkyu that wasn’t subbed, but I forgot about it until I watched your reaction! I paused and could understand it except for “등짝 스매싱” which translates to back smashing. I think it’s more of a colloquial phrase that doesn’t make sense when translated. From context, the kakao emoji and volleyball player Korean meme it shows up in, I think it’s kind of a scolding thing. So it says “I want to hit your back(I want to do back smashing on you)! I love you!” I think Yedam meant it in a ‘you can be cute but sometimes over the top in certain situations’ ‘I love you!’ *gives a back pat slightly harder than necessary* And that connects to the examples the members were giving about Junkyu being hyper/making noise in the morning during breakfast. I get that they didn’t translate that because how would you express that in an english phrase? I feel like English speakers do that too when joking with friends and give the slightly sweet sarcastic phrase paired with a slightly stronger shoulder/back pat. But we don’t have a word or phrase to describe it?

You can actually watch all the members do the ottoke song on the All the Kpop channel. They’re only about 30 or so seconds long, so they’re short, but totally worth watching, I especially suggest watching Mashiho and Asahi’s videos because they are absolutely priceless. Also, there is a fixed cam version of them covering How You Like That on the same channel and it is nice to see the full choreography because they absolutely slay it.
