Mistress Speaks In Flux (Patreon)

Hello my cherubs!

I'm back for what may or may not be the last time in this format. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, regardless of what we decide to do. However, the future of "Mistress Speaks" is currently unknown.

I say that because it was several of my posts that got us flagged on Patreon last month. Some of the "offending" images were on story posts, but most of the pictures and links they wanted removed were from things I'd shared. I've enjoyed bringing you artist profiles, manga, hentai and movie reviews and other fun posts, but the platforms are getting strict about what they'll allow.

SS's content guidelines state they don't allow "infringing on others intellectual property" and Patreon has a similar clause in their TOS. This, to me, is very vague and unhelpful. Certainly you shouldn't present someone else's work as your own, try to impersonate an artist or share their pay-walled content, but outside of that, I don't see what the problem is.

I think almost everything I've shared in the last two years would fall under "fair use" since I'm engaging in comment and/or criticism. Still, fair use or not, none of these companies have to allow it on their platforms. They can ban us for posting anything they don't like. Patreon won't even let you LINK to something they don't like.

So that leaves me questioning whether I should continue this segment. With these restrictions in place it's going to be difficult, if not impossible, to think up fun content to share each month (that won't get us flagged.) I certainly don't want to endanger our enterprise. If I continue Mistress Speaks, it might have to be text only unless I can find samples of content I'm confident won't get us in trouble.

Or I could drop the segment altogether and focus on conducting more polls and updating our Twitter feed, where I post all kinds of fun pictures, videos and links when I have time. (Search for "Mistress Cereza twitter" if you're not already following us.)
