Hey tribe!
So I’ve been studying to become a tantra practitioner & sexologist and so far the practice has really cultivated a new level of connection with myself & my family so I thought i would share an easy practice I learned from tantra.
- Sit comfortably in front of your partner (doesn’t have to be a romantic partner, I also practice with Luna) legs over theirs (or vice versa) hand to heart and stare into their eyes with a “soft gaze”(This disarms you both and gives your souls space to connect).
- Take 21 deep breaths together to ground down and bring your awareness to the present moment.
- Then share 3 appreciations about one another.
- Afterwards, sit in that yummy feeling as long as you would like and give each other a “melting hug”.
This practice really cultivates connection. You can even try this solo in the mirror too, to connect with yourself.
I use this on a daily just to reconnect to the love and feel safe & relaxed in a sometimes chaotic & fast moving world. Here’s a brief moment of O & I doing the practice. Let me know if you try it and get any results. And let me know if you want me to share more “tantra quickies”.
