I went back and forth several times on how to start this arc. I didn't want Lyn to be super sad since she's determined to succeed at getting John back, but I wanted to show her still living her life but not forgetting John at the same time.

So I came up with this at the last minute and decided the other stuff I had planned works better with this as the introduction.

She's going through the motions, but she's living her life. So at least she's not living in her closet or crying over ice cream. She's too strong to do that.
