I love the phone cord border you use with phone calls in the comic. It's more visually fun than changing the word balloon spiky. Thanks to that joke I'm now imagining the attacking dongs will seek out Blaine to be their king. >)P

I really don't care for the spiky word balloons for phone calls... In my opinion if a comic has that and you never cut back and forth between the two sides it's just being lazy. The phone cord panels are something I came up with like in the first year of the comic and it's a solution that I use even though there are folks who are reading the comic who never had a phone with a cord on it in their entire life now... It's like the black and white convention that I use for indicating flashbacks... but at least most people would have seen a black and white movie or scene somewhere before.
