Buck and Tony are getting together on their own, this could go really well or really poorly. They're talking about...

- The Devil
- TV Show Intros
- Cartoons Made from Adult Media
- Dismissive Confidence

Getting older I've realized life is just a cycle of satanic panics. First it's the devil, then it's violence on TV, then it's speech on the internet, onwards and so on. The state of medias constant need for crisis is the only real argument you need as to why the first amendment needs some common sense controls. Things like when a journalist tells a lie, they get sent to a prison for the rest of their lives.

The intro used to be this little welcoming ditty to start the show. Where are we going Jean Luc? Where no man has gone before? Let's get to it! You were excited, your favorite show was starting. Now I can't listen to 4 seconds of music before I get back to the show. I know I'm watching Lois and Clark the New Adventures of Superman. I torrented it, I put it on my plex server, and then I clicked the picture of the show, then I hit play for the current episode. I know I am watching it, let's get to it.

The 80s were a wild time. R rated movies would sell toys for kids. And then inexplicably they would pivot those into Cartoons. Now media has to be so completely censored because "think of the children!!!!" At the same time they were lamenting violence in video games, Robocop had a cartoon show where the theme song was just repeating the word Robocop like 10 times. Wild stuff.

Nothing like a boss or coworker who drops a bunch of shit on your plate and then says, "You can do it!" How, with what time, why, where? Don't know, don't care, just handle it. This is the worst type of management, where they think they are inspiring you with their confidence, but you're only demoralizing you while ramming you right in the B-hole.
