Tim is in Utopia. No reason to go outside. A new Doom game has been released. He's happy as a clam. He gets it. Don't be around other people, just be inside your own home. I get it I can hangout inside all day too.

Where are the helpers? I'll never forget that quote from Mr. Rogers. We've got so much going on and it's all so over hyped and sensationalized to keep you engaged. Where did the calm cool level heads of leadership go? I miss that, I miss the old Captain Picard who was unflappable and thoughtful before acting.

The only thing better than a story about getting to the movies on time, is getting to the movie just on time. We have a psychological need for closeness in our lives. That's why it's always stories about how you were just there, after a tragedy happens. That's why all sports movies end with a hail mary game winning shot that clears the bleachers. Success is great, but snatching it from the jaws of failure is even better.

Breaking the Law is great. There is a thrill of rebellion that drives all of us. Some more than others. I absolutely cannot stand being told what to do. I get these shakes and just feel obstinance radiate out of me. Maybe it's a personal failure, or maybe it's a random mutation that we need one out of every million humans to have it to keep things interesting. I guess we'll never know.
