End of Month Update! (And more transparency) (Patreon)
Content
The winners of this month's surveys will be up later today, particularly the answers to the Big Questions.
What's a Big Question? It's a survey question that's three things: preferential, meaning you get to select a few options that you'd like to see, and votes are weighted based on those preferences, weighted, so that your reward tier determines your vote weight (1-2-4-8-16 or Pony-Bunny-Dragon-Angel-Succubus), and, most critically, binding - Big Questions determine what work we will definitely get done, likely in the very next month following the end of the survey. We've had two main recurring Big Questions thus far - Which new Encounter would you like us to work on? in the Encounter Survey and Which new feature would you like us to work on? in the Feature Survey.
The next encounter survey will go up tomorrow - and it'll include a nice new recurring Big Question - Which of the following pieces of character art do you want to see sketched out next? - which will have actual sketch ideas that can be voted on preferentially and that we'll sketch out for the next month to better inform the ToA art pipeline.
We'll be adding a new recurring Big Question for the feature survey in the month after as well, but we'll keep that a surprise for now.
In the interest of transparency, here's the pipeline for next month:
Art:
- Sketch Factory Winner #47 - Do It For the Car
- Sketch Factory Winner #48 - Wax Poetic
- Encounter Survey Winner #6 - Ogre
- Harpy BJ In-and-Out
Coding/Writing
- Feature Survey Winner #6 - More sex skills for existing sex stances
- Ranged Combat (!)
- Encounter Survey Winner #6 - Ogre
- Clean-up of grappling
- Stability Statuses
This is the minimum output we plan for April - the last two months we've exceeded our targets, last month with a bunch of additional features and asset art (some of which remain unseen - if you're an Angel+ patron and you want to see some of the pretty non-dong art, let us know on the discord Angel+ channel!) and this month with a bunch of extra writing and coding done on the additional encounters.
We'll update this post with the winners of the surveys once we announce those as well.
And again, as we finish the first quarter of the first year of development, thanks to everyone that's been supporting us along the way, and to all the newcomers who have come on board to make this floppy dongfest a reality. We couldn't be doing this without you.
