Tales of Androgyny - Mimic Animation (Patreon)

A heroic adventure is an expensive venture - a little lost gold or treasure here and there can be a real boon, so an unsecured treasure chest is often an adventurer's best friend. Unfortunately, this created an evolutionary pressure for monsters who want or need to breed with humans to mimic the appearances of a particularly expensive-looking treasure chest in order to convince greedy or desperate adventurers into approaching them... and then casting themselves in the role of "best friend" for the ensuing no-holes-barred friendly encounter, for however long it takes them to either rid themselves of or fulfill their reproductive urges.

This has led to the common saying - if the chest is rockin', don't come knockin'. Adventurers don't often talk about what happens inside the tight confines of those chests, but if one of them ends up inside of it, suffice it to say that "how does the mimic fit inside these tight confines" takes on a very different meaning.

And the answer is: surprisingly well.

We've got more fun stuff with this animation and the mimic in general planned. Currently there's just the two expressions and the kissing animation, but we want to have her popping out of the chest, catching Hiro, and pulling him inside.
