This post was actually supposed to go out last week, but it covers in a bit more depth the changes for this upcoming update.

We've got battles ending by "satisfying" the enemy done, and, in fact, we've made it possible for battles to end for plenty of different reasons, which you'll start to see rolled out with each new update.

We've also implemented a bunch of new battle elements (among them: blocking, parrying, evading, tripping, and soon countering and bleeding), highlighted particularly by the context-specific bonus system, which grants particular bonuses to certain techniques depending on the situation.  We'll give a larger write-up of it in the release notes, but the nice thing is that it's explorable through the UI, so you can already see the effects laid out.

A nice UI feature as well is that you can now see your current armor score, which means you have just about all the information you need to understand what's going on.  In addition, you can see how "degraded" your character is, which will be more fully explored in later releases.

We've started writing out the Gadgeteer encounter, the winner of the last encounter survey, who, for now, is a non-combat encounter/merchant.

Those on the streams have probably seen that we've also started animating Ms. Centaur.

Tonight, we'll be post the first sketch factory update for this month and the winners for the feature and encounter surveys, and tomorrow we'll be posting the changelog, which'll include all the changes planned for 0.1.16.

In other news, we've set up our build  to be able to create the new weekly versions for Bunny+ patrons.  It'll be in a single build folder, so it'll always be the most up-to-date copy available, but you won't be able to see previous versions, so if you want backups you'll have to keep a copy for yourself, just as a heads-up!

It's been a great start to the year - thanks again to all of you loyal supporters, and to all the new faces, welcome!

No problem! By Tuesday we'll have the next version (v0.1.16.0), and then you'll get the first weekly the following Sunday, which will be v0.1.16.1
