EDIT: github repo @ https://github.com/majalistic/tRaPG

So development on Tales of Androgyny has begun in earnest, as I, Maj (the writer), have taken a two week vacation from work to catch up on my writing (new Jewel chapter should be up Friday of next week!) and also to set the groundwork on this game.  It's still in a very early stage - the goal of the next two weeks will be to get it to an... early stage, with some of the major systems stood up and ready to support content creation, at which point I'll be able to make progress on the weekends in between working my full time job that helps keep Alis and I indoors and with the food necessary to continue being alive, and, more importantly, productive.

If you have an interest in learning about what tRaPG will be like, or want to make suggestions, or want to learn about programming or game development or just want to hang out, be sure to pop in and say hi (link up top) - the last few days has been kind of lonely ;_; - but even the one or two visitors has really helped keep it fun.

I'll be coding on the stream every day for the next two weeks, up until September 6th, when I head back to work.  You'll see brief glimpses of the game as it's being made and I run through some tests, but mostly it's watching me coding and chatting with me - I'm answering any questions about the game and also just the usual stream antics.

Unfortunately, picarto doesn't support stream merging on private streams, and we've had our art stream to private for the last few days.  D:

Alis (our lovely artist) has been handling the other Patreon's updates in that time, but we'll have a publicly-available stream later today, and those will be merged streams so you can see the art-making and the game-making at the same time, for those of you who don't want to sit around staring at an IDE. :3

I do want to be clear that this isn't the official announcement of the game in any real way - that will come with more fanfare when we have more of a game (with some more assets and a playable demo).   This is very early in the process, and while I've been working on getting it set up and planning for it for months now, I only started actively working on it full-bore this weekend, and Alis and I have plans for art asset generation that shouldn't cut too much into our usual schedule.

As a final caveat - the structure of this Patreon won't be changing, at least not initially - and even in the future, we will remain a per-update campaign; the sketch factory will continue in perpetuity.  We're open to feedback about how things are run, but for now, status quo is the Old Gods - business as usual, only I'll be streaming my coding sessions and, possibly, my writing sessions (ahhhhhhhh).
