Patreon Survey Results Part 1 (Patreon)

So we have a representative sample now, and we'd like to thank everyone who've already submitted their feedback. :D We'll leave the poll open a few more days, and then publish the final results.

For now, there's four big takeaways - three which are directly related to this Patreon. The first is that the favorite feature is our dropbox sharing of sketches - if you haven't taken a look in the dropbox folders yet, you'll find there's a lot of good/new stuff in there. The second takeaway is that a website, and particularly a UI for submitting Sketch Factory votes/viewing Sketch Factory progress are the most requested items, with the website asked for by a majority of respondents. Trailing that, there's livestreams, which we'll look into, and a raffle of sorts.

The third takeaway is that, of the people responding No to Sketch Factory voting participation, a plurality are confused about how it works or weren't aware it existed, with some people noting that they forget to vote. We'll be addressing these issues in a later post, but for now, suffice it to say that if you're in one of the voting tiers, you can contact us any way you'd prefer (email, Patreon message, carrier pigeon) with your favorite sketch in this blog post:http://majalistic.blogspot.com/2015/05/sketch-factory.html

and we'll take care of the rest. No action is required on your part beyond that until you see that sketch become a full color picture, at which point you just select your next favorite. If you've got a bunch of favorites, and you can rank up best to worst, you can send that over too. Currently, only ~25% of patrons with voting power have a current vote, and we'll be sending out a message to everyone who doesn't currently have a sketch selected.

The final takeaway is that there's interest in a separate Patreon for our dark stuff. That's somewhat in the works, so there'll be more about that soon.
