Hayo, new weekly! Big Hiro animation update!

First up: there's new Mermaid art! We finally get a shot of Hiro impregnating a fish lady. You're welcome, internet! Hiro may be laying the seeds of his own egg-filled future, but it feels too good to stop! Just who is becoming a mama now?

We've also added the new Hiro animation! It has a lot of requested features - hair, eye, skin color selections, a higher resolution with more detailed artwork for each outfit, more outfits,  expressions and gestures, more stable animation, blinking, and m o r e  b u l g e. We've also got some more stuff coming down the pike for it, but it was a ton of work to get this much done, all the way to the final stretch.

Getting the new Hiro animation in proved to be an ordeal - Spine updated itself, so the new animation didn't run with our existing Spine runtime, so we had to update that... and that didn't run with our existing libGDX version, so we had to update that, fixing a bunch of things that broke in the process. We also had to update all of the existing animations as well, so it was really more of a coincidence that Spine updated itself at the same time that we were updating Hiro's animation - it was a good exercise, though, as we got to look through all of the existing animations and re-affirm what we knew about them, which will make it easier to add to them as well when the time comes.

But for now, we have some more things we're doing with the Hiro animation, mainly the remaining character customization options (penis and breasts) and then incorporating the belly animation, as well as fully incorporating the character portrait/make-up elements onto it.

Shows up during encounters and is reflected on the character and inventory screens

Am I the only one who cant seem to download any of the files?

I'm curious if you planning on updating all the artwork with the different combinations of styles down the road ? That would be a insane amount of work i know, but it would be really cool too. I think the biggest one (for me anyway) is cage or no cage to the artwork.

It would be cool if you’re animating his belly, have a full anatomical view of his colon getting filled up with cum. Like how it’ll fill up different parts of his colon until it reaches maximum capacity. A long tube straight representing his colon in the character screen doesn’t really show much. It’d be great to see the bends and the turns of it.

I'm unfortunately running into a memory leak in the Android version. After long play sessions the game starts to slow down on loading screens, and eventually I encounter a black screen that the Android OS kills due to timeout and Memory Leak errors. The app dumps an error.txt file that I can't grab since my phone isn't rooted. :/ Edit: this is on Android 9 / Pie

(Playing a paladin for context) A couple things I noticed, the harpy divebomb encounter doesn't appear to be functioning correctly if you have high enough agility to dodge the first dive, it just sends you back to the world map. I'm not sure if that's intended though. The doppelganger seems to be somewhat broken, the doppel itself only appeared as the clothing/armor copy of you, the 'body' (face stomach etc.) was not there, and you face a suit of armor with hair.

I also think the memory leak SomethingGoesHere mentioned a couple days ago affects the computer (windows 64 at least) version as well, during longer sessions the background of the world map eventually would go black and the game would crash. Something to look into.

Yep, found a memory leak that should be fixed, although I still need to replicate the issue to be sure.

I'm not so sure the arena is behaving properly either, there's the 3 combat nodes and the 2 cache ones, however when you complete the last fight sequence the game just kicks you out and doesn't give you the chance to claim them. It does give you some rewards, though if those nodes are outdated and the reward it gives you at the end is what's intended then they should probably be addressed.

This is something I have been wondering for a while but why is there not more gear for the mage? Like a staff for or an amulet that gives them a magic bonus in their stats
