Third July weekly! The new stuff is a mix of straightforward and esoteric, so we'll get the straightforward stuff out of the way first: there are a number of new encounters, including a vampire hunter story mode encounter, an encounter featuring the cultist pictured above, a surprise cameo encounter, and some more battle encounters. We've completed the Dullahan "pincer attack" art, but it's not in-game just yet - it will be for the next weekly. The encounters now display the current speaker, and we did a revamp to how scouting information is displayed and added a way to view your current metabolic rate, which has been also gotten some tweaks. And there's a cute little world map transition now - only available when Fast World Map is off.

We'll have a larger announcement about it, but this weekly also is the first to feature work from a collaborator - A Complete Spiral (www.acompletespiral.com) has contributed four new exclusive music tracks to the score.

You'll notice that there's a bunch of new features, a lot of which are backend stuff, as we try to clear out some of the remaining technical tasks to fully round out the game engine. We're nearing the end of the current backlog, which has tasks in it dating all the way back to the game's prototype almost two years ago. Once those last tasks (16 of them remain) are complete, we'll populate the backlog with the remaining Alpha roadmap tasks and anything else that we notice could use some more love or improvements, and we'll also use that opportunity to add more options to the surveys. We'll mention this again in our monthly review so that everyone can know where we're at, but it is really exciting so we wanted to share it with the weekly crowd. Again, thanks so much to y'all.

Damn! That's a fuckton of new content. I look forward to digging in later. Keep up the great work, guys. :) Also, I love the new scouting levels. Great idea :D Who is the cameo demon lady? Is that someone I should know? Character from the title screen, perhaps?

Also, for the new Harpy encounter... Selecting "Open wide" just skips it. Doesn't appear to be anything after that, it just ends and you go back to the map screen.

how to have encounter with vampire hunter anyone knows please?

Never have had this happen before, but for some reason the witch's cottage, despite what I do, always gives me the same dialogue about how it seems to be abandoned. Am I doing something wrong? Before I was able to just go to it, I checked change logs but do not see any mention of a complete change to Witch encounter and how to trigger it.

Is the aggressive Harpy encounter a separate encounter itself, or just a branching path for the usual Harpy encounter? In case it's the latter, is there a way to trigger it?

It's a random encounter in the harder areas - it'll have different scout info.

Can I use the same old save, or do I have to start the game a New?

You can use the same save - just copy it over (.toa-data folder) or only grab the .jar file and replace it on desktop.

ok im apperently just dumb, i have the application and everything downloaded, but it wont start up at all

Make sure you've got the right version 64 or 32-bit, and aside from that make sure that in one folder you have: config.json, TalesOfAndrogyny.jar, TalesOfAndrogyny.exe, config.json. You can also try running TalesOfAndrogyny.jar, but you'll need to have java installed for it to work.

I love the Tiara btw, can't wait to see where it might be integrated into other stuff as time goes on. (would love to see an interaction with the warlock if you meet her while wearing it).
