How is it April already?! Well, there's a new monthly build, so that works out just fine. Like last month, the monthly is capital V very capital B big, and like last month, it definitely looks like we're at the end of the current roadmap, which means a new roadmap will be debuting sometime this month, and that we'll be moving into project phase Alpha, which is craaaazyyyyy.
To give you an idea of what big items remain on the current roadmap: Dungeons, Stealth, Camping Improvements, Town/Shop Improvements.
The battle UI overhaul will probably be the first thing on the new roadmap. A lot of stuff needs fleshing out in the existing encounters, like willpower, lust (and with that the long-awaited slut variants: a slut knight rises), knowledge, and femininity checks, ambushes, battle uniqueness, and of course more art and animations. As we move into Alpha, we'll see a greater focus on that kind of vertical improvement. As you can see by the below changelog, our current focus has been on adding new features, both gameplay mechanics and UI and navigation elements.
You'll see a bunch of new combat additions below, and you might be wondering "why bother with the combat, isn't this a porn game?" Well, don't! Doesn't that feel nice? It does, doesn't it? You feel like a weight has lifted off your shoulders. I'm going to count backwards from 5, and you will feel all of your worries melting away... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... there we go.

Version 0.1.30.0 - "Bottomless" update
New features:
- Implemented Kylira healing the player during combat when he is a companion
- Implemented Hypnosis effect/spell
- Implemented Paralysis effect/spell
- Implemented four new advanced stances, joining Blitz and Counter:
Berserk
Stonewall
Haymaker
Focus
Currently available by learning the gateway skill (Berserk, Stonewall, Reel Back, Center)
Limited movepools for each currently, but useful abilities within
- Implemented the ability to drop items
- Implemented return to main menu pulldown on the top of the screen
- Implemented hide/show battle UI button
- Implemented hide/show xray button in battle
- Implemented health regen, improved by Endurance
- Stability is now both more volatile and more consistent
Skills that require stability can no longer be reduced to 0 stability
Skills that restore stability can now restore more tiers than before
More stability tiers were added
Combat log correctly reports how many stability tiers the force of a blow destroys
- Overhauled Defense
Evasion now provides damage negation like Parry and Block
Most attacks provide 1 level of Parry and 1 level of Evasion, effectively halving damage taken while using them
Armor durability now more in line with Health, so even weak blows chip away at armor
Most straight damage reduction has been removed to make damage more consistent; only enemy that currently has damage reduction is the Slime
Implemented magic resistance
- Implemented Ranged Combat
Bow now goes in ranged weapon slot
Some fights can be started at a range, giving you the option to draw an arrow and fire or cast a spell or prepare
Melee attacks (yours or the enemy's) will miss and draw you forward
Visually represented by enemy being more distant
- Implemented equipped item bonuses
- Implemented world map zones differentiated visually
- Implemented companion affection ranking
This currently affects the power of companion actions and can affect when they'll be willing to do things for you during encounters

Currently available achievements:
"Fallen Goddess" - defeat the lord of Mount Xiuh
"Pure Hero" - defeat the lord of Mount Xiuh while a virginity
"Bounty Hunter" - complete the Brothel Madame's quest
- Implemented starting bonuses
Complete the "Fallen Goddess" achievement to unlock a single starting bonus
There are six basic starting bonuses - start a new character creation to select one once you've completed the "Fallen Goddess" achievement on any playthrough
- Implemented the ability to unlock classes - for now all classes are unlocked

Tweaks and bug fixes:
- Prostitution no longer causes a game over, just a class change
- Drastically changed how loading works - transitions should now be shorter and smoother
- River now looks more natural
- Reduced occurrence of ice cream and hunger charms
- Reduced bleed recovery, improved Endurance bleed regen
- Moved help text to help screen instead of loading screen
- Increased tree density
- Made some improvements to harpy animation queueing
- Fixed werewolf anal CG art not displaying battle
- Changed random enemy skill generation to a saved seed
- Added portraits on Camp screen
- Added some minor animation to character screen
- Fixed enemy pulling out
- Fixed crash bug with belly animation
- Fixed world map freezing
- Fixed Trudy/Kylira spawning too far away
