Happy Birthday, Tales of Androgyny!

So, September has arrived, and with it some good news.  First of all, here's our sketch for the Ghost Futa - she's a cutey, but there will also be spooky.  We're going to try and be a bit more proactive with some of these teasers, so you guys can get a better understanding of what we're working on, but right now that's a lot for us to juggle, which brings me to my second, crucially important point.

With your continued support, it's looking very much like we'll hit our next goal sometime at the beginning of next year, which is only a few months away.  Once that happens, Maj, er, I, will part ways with his/my current, non-fully-statted-out-monster-girl-phallus-game employment, and go from having weekends, evenings, and vacation days to work on ToA (programming, writing, interacting with y'all, managing the deployments, the survey questions, our voting spreadsheets, managing contractors, planning, etc.) to having all of the infinity time that exists in the week when you're not spending 40+ hours of it developing software for strange penis-knot-awoo-wolf-girl-unrelated purposes.

(Apologies to patrons for whom English is not a first language for that previous paragraph)

Those of you who have been following us for a while have probably been aware of the months that Maj took a week or two off from his day job to get things done, and the results were dramatic in the effect it had not only on the game's development, which saw sudden bursts of features across the board, but also on other aspects of the project, like the engagement here, on our discord, in our livestreams, and in terms of the encounter content being delivered being more fully-fleshed out.  ToA itself started at the end of last August as a two week prototype during one of these "vacations", going from basically scratch to basic dickgirl mating RPG in that short span of time.  (fun side note: my coworkers always ask me "where I went", and I never honestly answer "to the lewd mines, to mine more lewd.")

So as we look forward to a three day weekend, and see that it brings with it an opportunity to get an appreciable amount of work done... that says it all, really; it would be a huge boost.  It would also help Alis (the artist) work faster, as often she has to take on some of the administrative duties (like managing our spreadsheets or answering queries from patrons), which I could then fully take on.  I'd also be able to get back to non-ToA story writing, setting up our website, getting ahold of contractors to help us do the things we can't do or just to speed up progress, and in the future, have time left on the side to lay the groundwork for future game development.

tl;dr - it's looking like by Jan/Feb/March, Maj'll be going full time, which means faster development, more art, more regular status updates, more expansive surveys, and more time for old stories and new projects in the future, including our website, laying the groundwork for new games, more contractors helping us with content, and new rewards for patrons.  

We'll keep you posted on how that's looking as the year comes to a close.  But, for now, as always, thank you so much for help making this happen - without your support, this would still be a hobby for us.  And we hope you enjoy ToA and all the other art and stories we create as much as we enjoy making them.

Congrats on the anniversary! That year really flew by.

One thing that just came to me browsing the blacksmiths shop; instead of lethal weapons, why not non-lethal ones? Instead of afflicting bleeds, sell weapons like gauntlets, cestus, boxing-like gloves, quarter staves ect that inflict extra stamina/stability damage instead of bleeds for people that wanna subdue and fuck their enemies in battle instead of bleeding them out?

This will definitely be in - we want to have real weapon variety. We're at least going to be introducing non-bleed inducing weapons the player can use this version. :D
