Tons of fun stuff in this one - the major one being how much smoother it is to traverse the world map now. Camping's in, although there's not too much there yet - mainly resting and chatting up your companions, which is just getting started. Also: scouting, world map traps and mini-encounters which will get expanded, and the beginning of timed events.

New features:

  • Camping! Can rest, sleep, and chat with companions - more to come!
  • No longer have to deal with the annoying repeated stick encounter - can now move about somewhat freely on the world map!
  • World map encounters, finding rewards (gold, food, items) and traps
  • Scouting! Can scout ahead to warn of dangers and increase rewards and safety at the cost of time/food
  • Town screen and encounters in town now tint with the time of day
  • Time based encounters - Trudy the Adventurer now auto-encountered

New content:

  • Elf (Kylira)!
  • Automatically encountered at the dawn of the third day
  • Can be met in the wild after that encounter
  • Can be invited to join as a companion (able to talk to them in the new Camp menu)
  • A hunger charm which reduces metabolic rate (how much food is used per tick!)

Tweaks and bug fixes:

  • Harpy animation fixes
  • Food hunger messages now a bit clearer
  • Bleed now heals with rest

Something's off with the scrolling. If you find a cache or a trap the map freezes i.e. it doesn't recenter on your location which can cause the game to become unplayable. You can no longer advance.

You can move the map with the arrow keys! Hold shift to scroll faster. We'll add touch and hover scrolling as well.

Impressions about this update: - Automatic first encounter for elf doesn't seem good idea so far, because if you find elf location before 3 day, it is just wasted, since you can't revisit it again, later on. - I find new rest/scout/camp buttons excessive, you can just unite them all in single camp button, also scout doesn't seem like useful option, since you waste food on it, and if you'd want more map information, you'd just spend more points in perception anyway. - non-loading events like stashes and traps should center map once you step on them, because as it is now, it is uncomfortable for apk version (actually it is uncomfortable in general, since there is no onscreen buttons for some keyboard hotkeys, and those buttons that present are too small). - For my windows version actual hitboxes for onscreen buttons are misplaced with their pictures (you have to press slightly higher to hit them). - Since lip/butt options doesn't do anything yet, you can safely remove them, because its another screen that you have to skip while creating character. - Pls add current weapon information on battle screen and possibility to unwield weapon (barehand option). - Add special art for enemies in gallery, it doesn't seem too hard, but would actually make gallery useful. - Some cum in butt info would be nice, once you hover over belly icon on battle screen (agility modificators and number of turns they would last). - Magic and charisma look quite useless so far, and doesn't seem worth investing in. Event checks are very rare for these stats. Magic even can't be increased on your level-up screen. Problem with magic, that fire doesn't unbalance your opponent, and healing is hard to time in combat, because it consumes lot of mana points, and usually you'll get smacked on near equal amount of damage immediately after cast. Charisma could help in combat as well, e.g. affecting taunt chance or taunt power (it shouldn't work at all if you're ugly imo). Also charisma could affect arousal speed in battle. - I don't get Do Nothing option in combat, you always can do something. Enemies sometimes do nothing in combat even while they have better choices. - I feel doubts about fixed max HP. Most obvious solution would be increase max HP at every level up. Alternatively endurance could affect max HP, but that would probably make it more useful than other stats. On other side if Max Hp would rise with game progression, you would just snowball your opponents too easily later on in game. Actually enemies' levels should be higher once you walk farther from initial location (as well as requirements to please them sexually in battle, if you don't intend to fight them).

The Rest button is to avoid having to go to the camp screen just to do a normal rest action. Scouting is for lower perception characters - and it doesn't just give info, it also has an effect on the locations you scout (allows you to avoid Brigand/Harpy ambush, for instance, and increases the yields of certain caches). Yeah, we'll implement drag scrolling on the map, and you'll eventually be able to bring up more character info, including equipment, in the battle interface. Lip / butt options do occasionally show up in encounters currently.
