Some of you may have seen that my Hazbin Hotel reactions were removed from YouTube, and I got a strike (Don't worry about this, it's my first one, not a big deal)

I want my Hazbin Hotel reactions to be on YouTube for several reasons,

Although it's not still indie, Hazbin started as an indie project, and indie creators (mostly) like reaction videos to their content. My reaction to Addict is still (discounting Hazbin episode 2) my most viewed reaction video, even having a comment from Vivienne Medrano herself, a shock to me to this day.

I have always had a higher deference to indie creators when it comes to my reaction videos, nearly every time I have done a reaction to an indie project (I used to be less consistent) I have asked the creator if they are fine with it. They don't always respond, but most of them do. (If they don't respond, I do the reaction, but if the creator reaches out and asks me to take down the video, I do so without question, this has only happened once)

I want to put my Hazbin reactions on YouTube because I don't really think my channel or my Patreon would be where it is now without that initial boost from Addict. I am intensely grateful to Vivienne and the Hazbin Hotel fanbase for that. Really, I would love for all of my reactions to be on YouTube, I make pennies over there, but I still enjoy doing this as a hobby, it would mean scaling down, but if I could reliably put full length reactions on YouTube, even with all or most of the ad revenue going to the creators of the videos I react to, that is what I would do.

But that's not the YouTube landscape we live in. I hope A24 responds to me and releases the strike on my channel, and reinstates the videos (I do not care if they are demonetized), but I suspect they won't. That means that my Hazbin reactions will be moving to Patreon. I don't know an exact timeline for this for now, but this is my expectation.

Have a nice day.
