Ladders are flipping terrifying. I can get onto the first rung okay, and just about manage the second, but I'm not going any higher. It's really interesting how colours are perceived differently in different cultures. Like how in Japan traffic lights have blue instead of green because "green" as a concept is relatively new. So, there was a bit of wordplay towards the end. "Sweet" and "naive" are pronounced the same in Japanese. So the subtitles saying "it'd be sweet if that naive idea of yours was real" was an attempt to preserve that. Better done than a lot of translated wordplay.

I hate ladders, worse yet is I've been in jobs where I've had to be very high up on them. That is actually a decent attempt.
