In the manga, Makarov lists out some of the complaints that the council had. Gray got a complaint for wandering a town naked then stealing someone's underwear from a lundry line. Elfman got a complaint because he punched the guy he was supposed to be bodyguarding. Cana send her bar tab of fifteen alcohol kegs to the council. Loke seduced one of the council member's granddaughter. Then Natsu, personally, is called out for destroying: seven houses, a historic clock tower, a church, a section of a castle, and observation station, and half of the harbour at Hargeon. Shame that they cut it out of the anime. Because, despite Makarov's epic speech about not caring about what the council thinks, they had a little bit of a point. Another shame about the anime is the blood censor. All blood and serious injuries are just censored. Macao was *very* badly injured, The anime hides his injuries with bandages. But they didn't have enough supplies in the first aid kit they brought with them in the manga, and Natsu had to use his fire to cauterise his wounds so he wouldn't bleed out before they got home. For the most part just assume there should be more blood that you're seeing. I'll probably point out scenes where the absence was especially noticeable.

Most of those are fair points, but her sending her bar tab to the cancel is kind of legendary. Shame about the blood, you don’t need to go full blood and gore to show that someone’s seriously hurt, so over-censoring doesn’t make sense to me.
