I agree that Eugene’s past is unnecessary and kind of gets rid of the point of his previous backstory but it doesn’t completely ruin his backstory for me since he still was abandoned and an orphan, that’s still part of him even if later on his father came back

Not a show, but the "Gender Divided Classes," scenes almost completely turned me off from a game series. I say "almost" because the rest of the series is great and it's more a fault of the in-game culture than the out-of-game metaness. Yeah, Eugene hasn't been his best these couple episodes... But I'm impressed with how decent the foreshadowing for Cassandra was considering she'd only been planning the betrayal a few episodes.
