While Sang-Woo is not a "psycho" in the way often portrayed by the media, he could be a psychopath. He's manipulative and faked getting along with the others. Has a reputation of being smart and logical and successful. The crimes he's commited in the outside society also fit as being generally low-risk and not really all that violent. But you can tell that he has no conscience since he sees nothing wrong with killing people in an environment where that is "allowed" to happen, which implies he only wouldn't commit those crimes in society because he logically knows that the punishments (legal and otherwise) far outweigh any potential reward. As for which death hit the hardest, I think maybe Ali because he was trying his best to get them both out of there alive. He had just been super nice and helpful the whole time, always such a genuine person. Sae-Byeok was also painful because stupid Gi-Hun never made that deal with her and it was surprisingly sudden that she was bleeding out and then that wasn't even techinically the reason she died even though it caused an opening for that to happen. The Old Man was also kinda difficult to watch due to his mind deterioating, which I don't think he was faking, but I don't think I can truthfully say it hit as hard as the others. Ji-Yeong (the girl with Sae-Byeok in that round) actually hit harder with me that with the Old Man's death, even though she was more of a minor character. Just that she kept on smiling and trying to be cheery and that she deliberately chose to let Sae-Byeok continue. I know the Old Man technically just gave Gi-Hun the marble, maybe it didn't hit as hard because it panned away from him. Since this is getting a little long already, I might as well also talk about the two from the glass steps (who I've been mentally referring to as Bad Guy and Crazy Lady). I think I mentioned earlier that Gi-Hun reminds me of someone irl that I hate? Well Crazy Lady reminded me of her even more. So was not at all sad to see her finally go. If anything, it was just stupid that they were wasting the two of themselves on this one glass step rather than breaking one each. I may or may not have cheered a little. Guess I'm rooting for Gi-Hun in this final game. Still don't really like him all that much, but the lesser of two evils and all.

I think you're probably right about his being a psychopath, they are known for their abilities to be personable and get far in business. I don't know who you know in real life, but if she and Gi-Hun remind you of them, I don't envy those interactions.
