ok, so imagine that grey thing on the shoulder is a metal shoulder pad, so its suppose to be rigid and not deform, and move along with the movement of the upper arm and shoulder.

the first is done with the transfer utility. the pad moves really nicely with the movement of the arm but it deforms, so not really what we want

on the second i parented the pad to the arm. but now the pad is clipping through the shoulder when the arm is raised

the third is done with non-linear ERC freeze. this works really nice, the pad even goes a little bit up when the arm almost reaches its highest point, so thats awesome. the only problem is, i cant save this. even if i just save the whole scene, load it up again, daz lost all its settings

I moved the shoulder pads manually. But this is good because there is no pad deformation with movement. So far this seems to be the best solution. :)

yeah, for now this is the best solution. but if i can build this into the rig, it would make these outfits so much easier to use
