ok, so fixed the problem with the clothing from marvelous designer. there is no delays, no poke throughs, fits perfectly and animates really great. so i figured, lets try a spinning animation with a dress, right?! well, you know how things are, if you fix one thing there is always an other thing that wont work.

now the problem is getting bone rotations to work properly inside unreal. in any other 3d app you can apply a rotation from 0 to 360 degrees and if you want to go further you can just go further to 720 degrees to get 2 rotations, and so on. but of course, unreal doesnt work like that. after 360 it resets to 0, and that will create a flip. and thats what you see in the second part of the vid. so i think i understand the problem, but no solution so far.
