Good day, everyone!
I'm passing by for an update about the release's development and a little health transparency.

I said I would render the first half of the episode after a particular scene was finished, but something hindered me from doing so. I instead continued the dialogue's progress, and here's where we are now:

Line of raw dialogues: 2807
Renders: 0
Animations: 0
Audio & SFX: 0

Despite the health issues, I managed to keep up with the writing pace as intended, so the development hasn't slowed down at all. I am now about halfway into Gwen's second arc. I'd say more or less 47%. I might continue until I finish the dialogue while I observe my condition.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for my health issue, it's not life-threatening, don't worry. But I have been suffering from External Piles. I've noticed it since the middle of the Sicae patron release, and it is now hindering my work. I can't sit down long like usual, and it starts to hurt after several hours of sitting.

It's getting really, really annoying that I can't do my job like usual, so I went to the doctor for a check-up a few weeks ago. They prescribed 7-day meds and food recommendations to counter the symptoms, and I'm still using the ointment they suggested, but there have been no significant improvements so far. On the contrary, it got worse. From a pea-like size to almost double it now, if not bigger. However, the pain subsided, unlike how it used to when it was smaller.

Right now, I'm not feeling any significant pain, just more discomfort due to the swelling, unless it is stressed out. Thus, I'm doing a 20-minute interval between sitting and standing to avoid straining my butt. So that's how I got to continue working with the dialogues.

I'm avoiding doing any renders right now as I continue to observe my condition. Doing renders requires spending a lot of focus, and I, for sure, can't stand while doing it because I currently don't have a standing desk.

At the moment, it is stable as I continue with home remedies and certain practices. However, if it ever gets worse, and the pain persists and affects my day-to-day living, I'd have to resort to last-ditch surgery to remove it. But I don't want it to go to that as I heard the operation doesn't heal quickly, and the pain makes you think it was not worth the trouble.

I just want to get this thing out of my ass, man... 😭

Anyway, I don't want to consume your time with some health issues, so this will be it for the report.

See you at the next one!

Hope you feel better soon. You may try one of those "donut seats" They originally made them for people with eating disorders. As the name says, they have a hole in the middle so you can sit on them without putting any pressure on the painful area.

I have one, but it was only a temporary relief. It was the thing that made it swell more. :'(

Having been in your place, I feel your pain. Eating a lot of bran does make it easier, it greases the wheels so to speak.

I guess this is an occupational disease and you should find a sustainable approach or you may get this disease again in future ,even you do the surgery.Anyway, all the best~
