So yeah, uh... my benefit is expiring, and I'm not going to be able to renew it. This means that my sole income will now be from this patreon, which is pretty scary. Also kind of exciting, though?

Uh, as for my current plans... I want to finish Gauntlette and Anamoor as soon as possible. Getting two more stories finished would give me more of a solid foundation of credibility, I think? Like, if people can see five finished stories under my belt then they might trust me a bit more to actually get to the end of a story? I don't know.

As for immediate plans, I'm currently writing a Digital Galaxies chapter, and the new story Lieforged Gale will begin posting in like, maybe a month?

Other than that, I was wondering how everyone is feeling about my content. Is there any themes you want to see me hit in a story, or maybe characters you'd like to see expanded on? What are you most excited for? Do you want to see X finally fall for X, or do you want to see a big reveal happen? Are you interested in the lore of Y story? I'd like to get a read of where you all are at.

Another thing... I'm getting a sort of "Author-sona" made, including a vtuber rig. I won't be streaming much or whatever, but in the future, I'm going to make little videos talking to you all with it. Just a silly little fun thing, but yeah. That's something to look forward to, I guess?

Anyway, uh... see you in the comments? I do actually read every single one!

If anything finishing a book will let you out it on amazon or something to get some added income. Sorry to hear your benefits are ending but glad you seem to be ok about it and have a plan going forward

Thanks!!! It's super terrifying to be honest, but I make enough to just cover rent, food and power... IF my ADHD brain can stop from desperately seeking out shiny purchases to feed its voracious appetite for dopamine.

I think, finishing a story or two is an excellent goal. And it will be good for any sort of portfolio that you might want to present at any kind of opportunity. My thumbs are pressed for you to succeed. I love about your stories that they don't just end with the relationship being started and continue for much more even after a slow-burning romantic development. I would love to see more of that kind of what-actually-is-their-happily-ever-after-like thing. :)

QuietValerie

That is literally my favourite thing ever. You'll be seeing it for a long time with Ryn and Grace, along with Cerri and Alia. Probably Dawn and Tami too :D

I'm really excited to see Lieforged Gale begin posting, the world and the characters and the intrigue are all just delightful to read!

I'm a bit sad that gauntlette is close to the end actually. But digital Galaxy is my fav, need more of that! Well I'd love more of everyone of your stories but since digital goes the deepest on the setting of the troubleverse. It's the most enticing for me. And since you'll probably not write a story fully on SAIs DG's the closest to it I'll get :)

QuietValerie

Oh, Gauntlette isn't even clooooooose to being done, don't worry :). At least Anamoor being done will help, while I sort of prioritise Gauntlette but not actually finish it

OK sooo I'm going to need to think about it a while to put it into to detailed words that could be useful rather than this more summarized version, but: What first got me hooked on your stories was the setting/themes you write. I had been so thirsty for transfic set in, like say... VRMMOs and superhumans/mutants, when Pellan came around. But what REALLY got me glued to your stories was all of the amazingly real characters you write and how they each have their own distinct feel to them on top of having that Vale Protag™ flavor.

I too, have a great love for the characters and worlds you've created. For things I'd like to see, however... I'd like to see how you'd handle a dungeon-management fantasy thing. A lot of them are super terrible but I've always had a soft-spot for that sorta thing. I'd also just love to see Ryn finally dunk her foes into the garbage where they belong

I fell in love with your stories because of the characters and ideas surrounding your stories. You didn’t have someone change gender and just cry my pee pee! and forget about it, you had people who changed and actually looked at the changes, were realistic about their worries and fears, and didn’t pretend to be guys without their third leg. I loved the unique situations surrounding every story I’ve read, and the general fluffiness seen in almost every story.

White Neko Knight

I'm simply looking foward to more Ryn kingdom building. Out of all your stories that one is my favorite. If you put any of your compleated stories up on Kindle I'll happly buy them as well.

Sorry to hear your benefits are ending Vale. Thank you for all the great stories so far, and hopefully many more to come!

QuietValerie

Hahaha now I'm thinking of myself as a sort of chef for protags. "A new spin on a beloved flavour! Try Vale Protag today!"

QuietValerie

Oh gosh, I'll take a look. I've never read one of those stories, so I'd have to do some research on that

QuietValerie

Oh that leads me to another question. How do you feel about me dipping my toes back into darker stuff with the recent Gauntlette chapter?

QuietValerie

Ooooh, how would you feel about more kingdom building in other stories? I have some of that planned for Lieforged Gale

Hmm... this is hard to answer? I enjoy it when the emotions run both very high and very low, I enjoy relationships being built and maintained, I like fun characterization and interactions. I only tend to like fighting, game mechanics, and magic systems in so far as they contribute towards one of the previously mentioned things, otherwise they might as well be generic for me. I enjoy the part of the isekai experience where you are removed from your own societal constraints and able to pursue success, happiness, love, and purpose in a much simpler (if still big and scary) way than you meaningfully can in the real world. I enjoy your well-written sex scenes, I enjoy the gender vibes although sometimes the early egg stuff can be uncertain for me due to there being a lot of binarism in early eggy stuff, but it's still primarily a thing I like. Punching fascists is always a plus, never stop with that trend... hmm.. This is very general isn't it? Specifics: I don't have a ton, but I'd like to see more witch of chains, gauntlette, trouble, and Ryn! But I have no specific wishes for any of them. Oh, I guess one thing would be that I do like it when the presumed love interest has agency and power of their own? So, more of that. (it's true for most of the stories, I just wanted to mention it)

Oh, and I'm sorry your benefits are ending >.< hopefully the income from here will be enough, and new opportunities can spring forth

I can't really say there's anything specific ol' Bear would like you to cover that you don't already, tbh. Between your stories and my friends, I've learned a lot about "Trans Stuff" and the struggles ya'll face. If anything I wish I could pledge more.
