Commission || Astarion x Tav II (Patreon)

The second half of the commission/gift bundle for my dear friend turianmailman. I really enjoyed working on this piece all up until the end, but that's always the way of it. Finishing commissions, for me, is always the hardest part. Marking down the point of "completion" can be really difficult, and sometimes the only thing that determines completion is the need to move on to other things. It's good, too, to practice restraint. Because as much as I'd love to turn everything into a fully rendered painting, I can't, for a variety of reasons. 

All said, for what I had the time to do, I'm very happy with this. I got to play more at drawing props and grounding them in the space, and finding a way to fudge a background ambience in. I debated the black background for awhile, but after waking up with fresh eyes, I do think it fills out the space much better than the blank white I've also included.
