I don't think it's a fantasy held only by trans people to wish or imagine that your body was made of clay; that you could clip it, carve it, reshape it as you wished. Sometimes I just want to pop off parts of my body and exist without them, but be able to pop them back on later. 

There's an older version of the blue piece, a first pass. But it's bad. And I don't want to acknowledge its existence. If you're interested, I do think I actually have the videos from these saved that I could share and go through to talk about the process. Trying to find a good palette for the bright pinks on the Faruq piece was a. Nightmare.
